Connecting HubSpot to KlaritiQ
If your team runs on HubSpot, you can connect it to KlaritiQ to pull real company and deal data into your readiness report, instead of relying only on self-reported answers. The connection is bounded and temporary by design: KlaritiQ gets a short, read-only window into your CRM, pulls one aggregate summary, and the access closes itself automatically.
What this actually does
Deal-stage distribution is a real signal of sales-process maturity, and a sample of your company records adds context KlaritiQ wouldn't otherwise have. That's the whole purpose here: enrichment, not integration in the ongoing sense. Nothing about your assessment depends on HubSpot staying connected, and nothing pulls continuously in the background.
Before you start
You'll need to be an owner or admin on your KlaritiQ organization. This lives under Settings, not inside the assessment flow itself, because it's an organization-level connection, not something tied to a single assessment.
Step 1: Open Integrations
From your KlaritiQ dashboard, go to Settings → Integrations. You'll see a Connect a CRM card at the top.
Step 2: Click Connect HubSpot
This opens HubSpot's own login and consent screen in a new tab - your KlaritiQ tab stays exactly where it is, so you don't lose your place.
Step 3: Choose the right HubSpot account, then approve
If you have access to more than one HubSpot account, HubSpot will ask you to pick which one to connect - make sure you select the one you actually want KlaritiQ reading from before continuing.
You'll then see a permissions screen listing exactly three things KlaritiQ is asking for:
- View properties and other details about companies
- View properties and other details about deals
- View basic properties about the installing account (primary domain, user emails)
That's the complete list. Nothing about contacts, marketing data, or anything you write inside HubSpot is requested, because none of it is needed for this feature.
Step 4: You're connected - for 10 minutes
Back on the KlaritiQ tab, the card now shows Connected, counting down from 10 minutes. That countdown is real, not cosmetic: once it hits zero, the access is gone, whether or not you used it.
Step 5: Pull enrichment data
Click Pull enrichment data any time before the countdown ends. KlaritiQ reads a small sample of your companies and deals, summarizes the deal-stage breakdown, and stores that summary against your report. You'll see a confirmation once it's done, and the connection closes itself immediately afterward - the same 10-minute window doesn't get reused for a second pull.
Disconnecting early
Click Disconnect now at any point before the countdown ends if you want to close the connection immediately rather than waiting it out. There's no persistent link to revoke later - once the window closes (by countdown or by your own click), it's closed on both sides.
What happens to the data afterward
Only the aggregate summary is kept - company count, deal count, the deal-stage breakdown, and a small sample of company names. KlaritiQ never stores your raw CRM records, your contacts, or ongoing access to your HubSpot account. If you want fresher data later, you connect again - each connection is its own bounded window, not a subscription.
If something goes wrong
A "this account isn't eligible to install" message at the account-picker step means that specific HubSpot account hasn't been approved to connect yet - this shows up most often when testing with a personal or secondary HubSpot account rather than your organization's main one. Contact support and we'll get it sorted for the account you actually need connected.
