Benchmarks: compare your AI readiness with similar organizations

KlaritiQ Team·October 2026·4 min read

Benchmarks shows where your organization's AI readiness score sits against similar organizations on KlaritiQ. It answers one question: is our score high or low for a company like ours? It does this with group statistics only, so you never see, and nobody sees, which organization is behind any number.

The Benchmarks page showing Your score, Your percentile, Cohort median, Cohort average and Top decile
Benchmarks with a full peer group. Sample data for a fictional organization.

What are you compared with?

Your peer group is made of other organizations' scored assessments that match yours on two things:

  • The domain of the assessment, for example the industry track your most recent assessment used.
  • Company size, in one of four bands: 1-10, 11-50, 51-250 or 250+ employees. The band comes from the company size answered in that assessment.

Your own organization is left out of the peer group. The comparison starts from your organization's most recent scored assessment, whoever in your organization took it, and uses its score, domain and size band.

What does the page show?

A sentence at the top says how many other organizations of what type and size you were compared against. Then Where you stand shows five tiles:

TileMeaning
Your scoreThe score of your most recent scored assessment
Your percentileThe share of peers who scored at or below you, for example 68th
Cohort medianThe middle score of the peer group
Cohort averageThe average score of the peer group
Top decile (P90)The score that the top tenth of the peer group reaches

Because Your score comes from your latest assessment, it can differ from the organization average on Reports, which averages across people.

Why does it say "Not available yet"?

There are three reasons, and the page tells them apart.

Building your peer cohort. Fewer than five peer assessments match yet. The page shows a progress bar, such as 3 of 5 organizations so far. This is a safety rule, not a fault: with a very small group, an average could give away one organization's real score.

The state before enough peers exist. Sample data for a fictional organization.

No scored assessment yet. Your organization has not completed an assessment with a score, so there is nothing to compare. Take one and return.

No company size on file. The assessment you took has no company size, so no size band can be matched. The page asks you to retake the assessment to enable the comparison.

How is anonymity protected?

The only calculation that touches other organizations' data is a set of group statistics: a count, an average, a median and percentiles. It never reads out a single peer's row, and there is no name, list or drill-down. The five-peer minimum is applied before any number is shown.

What does Benchmarks not claim?

It compares one overall score only. It does not compare dimensions, does not show trends, and does not rank you against named companies. It tells you where you stand among organizations on KlaritiQ, not among all companies in your industry.

Common questions

Who can see Benchmarks? Any member of the organization. It sits in the sidebar under Operate.

Can I choose my peer group? No. It is set by your assessment's domain and company size band.

Is the number AI generated? No. It is a plain calculation over scores, with no AI involved.

What does "Couldn't load benchmark data" mean? The request failed, so the page could not tell whether benchmarks exist. Use Retry.
